Buying grass fed - finished Angus beef does not necessarily mean purchasing a less ethically produced product. What ultimately matters more are the overall conditions in which the cattle are raised.
Our Grass fed cattle are born and raised to maturity on Gibraltar Rock Cattle Farm so our calves remain with their mothers allowing us to maintain a single herd, which also benefits the pastures and the grasses they eat. This is something we believe is crucial to obtaining the quality our customers have come to expect.
If you prefer to have your beef grain finished we do that as well. The grain-finish process begins 90 days before processing the beef. The cattle are fed a combination of select grains and corn to fatten up the beef to produce high quality well-marbled grain-finished cuts of filet mignon, sirloin, ribeye steaks and other cuts of beef.
